Yes! Each summer over 50 College coaches from the best academic institutions around the country attend this camp to evaluate campers. There are also scouting representatives from the Ivy League, Scout.com, the National Prep School and High School Scouting Report, and West Coast Prep Report.

It is hard to know exactly. Because most schools do not let us know of their plans to attend ahead of time, we only know that the schools with coaches on staff will be represented at the Elite Student Athlete Prospect Camp.

Lodging, buffet-style meals daily, 1 Under Armour camp jersey, accident and injury insurance, all camp activities, and instruction by the top college and high school basketball coaches around.

We have staff working around the clock to make sure that each camper is safe, comfortable, and secure in the dormitories. Coaches will also be in the dormitories to secure the utmost supervision of student athletes. Camp directors Robert Icart and Greg Kristof will constantly be supervising in the dormitories.

Hoop Mountain will have certified athletic trainers on duty for the safety of the campers. Also, there will be nurses on duty to administer any and all medications that a camper may have to take. All of our staff is very professional and has camper safety in mind above all.

Yes! We can give you recommendations on the best car services and taxis companies to use in the area.

It is up to you. The wonderful UCSD conferences and events staff does provide each camper with bedding and a pillow as a part of the tuition of Elite Student Athlete Prospect camp. However, you may still want to bring your own bedding.

No. As stated on all Hoop Mountain documents, the deposits for all camps and tournaments are non-refundable no matter the circumstances.

Yes. As long as this is stated at least a week before camp, we will always do our best to place campers with the coach they would like to play for.

No. Please specify in writing when registering at what time your son will be arriving or departing from camp if it does not correspond with the regular times. Hoop Mountain will make the proper arrangements to make sure there are no issues with late arrivals or early departures.

Yes. However, we cannot make any arrangements to transport campers to and from camp each morning and night (we can only do this for arrival and departure from the airport.) It is the camper/parent’s responsibility to have campers arrive before morning attendance and leave after camp activities conclude at night.

Absolutely. Parents can watch throughout the duration of camp without any additional charge. However, it is important to remember that parents should not talk to any coaches, or interfere with any camp games or activities.

Use your own judgment. There will be a snack bar open at the camp as well as merchandise sales. For the camper’s protection, we have a policy that you may leave cash secured at the office and arrange a charge for all purchasable items.

4 pairs of sweat socks, 1 pair of basketball sneakers, 4 T-shirts, 4 pairs of shorts, sleepwear, TOWELS, blankets, an alarm clock, personal care items, cellular phone or calling card, and a fan.
